Crowdfunding Arena: Seedrs Announced a £1.118 Million Partnership With Portugal Ventures

Seedrs and Portugal Ventures announced a new partnership that will provide a huge boost to the growing startup ecosystem in Portugal.

The venture capital firm will start investing alongside the crowd, with a cap at €1.25 million (£1.118 million), into the most innovative Portuguese equity crowdfunding campaigns on the Seedrs platform. Portugal Ventures is a leading seed capital firm in Portugal, having already invested in 90 startups to date.

The partnership will see the venture capital firm investing up to 50% of the funding target into Portuguese startups raising on the platform. Startups will benefit from access to the venture platform and the network of Portugal Ventures. The venture firm is widening its portfolio within technology sectors, such as fintech, smart manufacturing, digital health, mobility, and travel tech.
