Universities, public authorities, private foundations, and industry associations are teaming up in Italy with the aim of fostering the crowdfunding culture.
The European Crowdfunding Network (ECN), a professional network aimed at innovating, representing, promoting and protecting the European crowdfunding industry, has recently announced the creation of an ad hoc project, the ECN-Italian Strategic Group, to deliver standardization and harmonization within the industry.
Indeed, a press release states that outcomes of the projects will include the development and deployment of a standard certification for training and education on crowdfunding for professionals and investors, the activation of Job Placement project to provide industry players with highly qualified human resources, and the assessment of the feasibility of new guarantee instruments, co-financed by public authorities and other institutions.
The ECN – ISG represents the natural evolution of the cooperation between the European Crowdfunding Network and relevant players in the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The project, led by the association of Chambers of Commerce in the Lombardy region, Unioncamere Lombardia, will be carried out by a leading consortium for innovation, Aster, along with the training agency Fondazione Fenice and the international legal practice Osborne Clarke.
