In London, there is a brewery which is trying to make room for
Silo, the Brighton-based ‘zero waste’ restaurant founded by chef Douglas McMaster (pictured above) who will also host workshops in the new workspace next door to the restaurant.
Founded back in 2012 by brother-and-sister duo Tom and Jess Seaton and their friend, Neil Hinchley, CRATE Brewery will kick off their campaign next month (March 2019), with the aim of raising £500,000.
” We are so excited for this brand-new chapter in the Crate story,”
CRATE Brewery‘s Director, Tom Seaton, said. “The refurbishment of the White Building is going to allow us to really enhance our business and our creativity, with sustainability at the forefront.”
Media also titles report that part of the sum will be devoted to the refurbishment of the brewery’s premises at The White Building, a former print factory in the heart of Hackney Wick.
