As part of their commitment to reducing environmental impact, PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP) announced the launch of the PepsiCo Greenhouse Program- APAC.

This edition seeks to collaborate with entrepreneurs based in the Asia-Pacific region who are developing innovative solutions that promote the circular economy for packaging and climate reduction.

How does it work?

10 startups will receive USD$20,000 in grant funding and one-to-one mentorship and take part in a 4-month business optimization programme designed to accelerate growth. At the end of the process, the winner will be awarded an additional USD$100,000 to keep partnering with PepsiCo on future projects.

Requirements & selection criteria

Having business operations in one of Pepsico’s APAC region markets and pre-revenue to USD$2M in sales are some of the requirements to join the party.

Finalists will be selected on a set of criteria including uniqueness in the market, a clear go-to-market strategy and plan for sustained in-market execution, proof of concept and working prototypes ready for review, a scalable business model and a balanced gender and ethnic diversity in the team.
